On July 14, 2021 a Grand Jury in Plaquemines Parish indicted Franklin Melwin Senfles, age 22, from Gretna for Second Degree Murder for distributing drugs that contained fentanyl that caused the death of Hailey Deickman on May 14, 2021, in Belle Chasse. Ms. Deickman was set to graduate for Belle Chasse High School 11 days later.
Mr. Senfles’ bond was set at $1,250,000. His arraignment will be before Judge Kevin D. Conner on July 26, 2021.
