The District Attorney’s Office announces that on February 3, 2020, the morning that this case set was set for a trial by jury, Donald Crosby entered a plea of guilty as charged to the felony crimes of Simple Burglary and Illegal Possession of Stolen Things valued over $1,000 to $5,000. As the result of his guilty plea in this case, Mr. Crosby faces up to 12 years of incarceration, and is set to be sentenced by the Honorable Kevin D. Conner on April 21, 2020.
Mr. Crosby’s criminal history includes three felony theft convictions dating back to 2003, two previous felony illegal possession of stolen things convictions, and a felony domestic abuse battery conviction. This case was prosecuted by Edward McGowan and the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff’s Office case agent was Kelli Sylve.
