Belle Chasse Man Pleads Guilty to Domestic Violence and Video Voyeurism; Sentencing Set for February
Plaquemines Parish, LA — January 8, 2026
Michael Fasullo, 42, of Belle Chasse, has pleaded guilty to Domestic Violence – First Offense – Child Presence and two counts of Video Voyeurism, on January 6, 2026, in front of Judge Kevin Conner. Fasullo is scheduled to be sentenced on February 24, 2026.
The domestic violence charge stems from an incident on December 31, 2023, when deputies responded to a residence on Omega Street for a reported disturbance. Investigators determined that Fasullo pushed his spouse to the ground during an argument in the presence of multiple children. He was arrested and booked under Louisiana Revised Statute 14:35.3.
While in custody, a separate investigation revealed disturbing evidence on Fasullo’s cellphone. Detectives obtained a search warrant and discovered multiple videos showing a 13-year-old juvenile being secretly recorded while nude in a bathroom. The recordings, which were made by placing a phone under a bathroom door, were confirmed through forensic analysis. Jail calls reviewed by investigators captured Fasullo acknowledging the videos, stating he “wasn’t trying to see her naked.”
Fasullo was subsequently charged with two counts of Video Voyeurism under Louisiana Revised Statute 14:283, a felony offense. Both domestic violence and video voyeurism carry severe penalties under state law.
Sentencing will take place on February 24, 2026, where Fasullo faces significant legal consequences, including possible incarceration, probation, registering as a sex offender and mandatory counseling. Officials urge the public to report any suspected abuse or exploitation to law enforcement immediately.
Assistant District Attorney, Jason Napoli prosecuted both cases.
