On February 19, 2019, Jessica Wheeler, 26, of Monroe, pled guilty to the crime of aggravated cruelty to animals before Judge Kevin D. Conner for the October 2018 killing of her roommate’s dog. Wheeler will be sentenced on May 21, 2019.
