On March 15, 2016, Joshua Hunter, 27, of Belle Chasse, Louisiana, plead guilty to two counts of Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Heroin and Buprenorphone. District Judge Kevin Conner sentenced Hunter to enroll and the complete the 25th JDC Drug Court Program. Hunter failed to comply with the conditions of the Drug Court Program and stipulated to his revocation. On August 29, 2018, Judge Conner resentenced Hunter to serve to ten years of incarceration for count two and five years for count one with the Louisiana Department of Corrections. The two sentences shall be served concurrent for a total of ten years.
