The American Legion Post 329 of Belle Chasse and District Attorney Charles Ballay partnered to bring Easter Baskets to 30 children in our parish. Each year Bryan and Sheryl Ruiz volunteer to help organize and put together the baskets that will be distributed. This year’s baskets include chocolate treats, wood wind chime craft set, eggs filled with candy and other assorted candy. Baskets were delivered to the children on April 17, 2019. The American Legion, under the leadership of Commander Rudy Sampey donate the baskets to children who are in most need and with the help of the District Attorney’s Office, the children are able to receive the baskets in time for Easter.
